Bushcraft Outfitters Dark Earth Silnylon 10' x 10' Tarp
Silicone double coated 1.1 oz ripstop nylon (silnylon). This fabric is coated with a silicone layer and is non-breathable. Lightweight and durable with some of the best waterproof/windproof performance on the market.. We use tabs, evenly spaced, instead of grommets because they are stronger, more durable, as well as easily field repairable if the need arises.

Many people choose not to seam seal their tarps but for the maximum level of waterproofing we recommend any tarp be treated along the center seam. The recommended sealer for this tarp is our silnylon sealant found on the line/shelter accessories page. You simply apply a small amount of sealant to a gloved finger and spread a thin even coat along the center seam being sure to cover all of the exposed threads/folds in the fabric and let stand overnight to dry. This works best when you seal the outside layer of the tarp and should be done with the seam under mild tension such as when the tarp is in an A-frame configuration.

Sil 10X10
My best tarp. Packs down to less than an Nalgene. Exactly what I was looking for, the lightest and smallest packed for a 10X10. It packs smaller than the 5X7 MEST. When I was putting seam sealer on the middle seam, I noticed the smallest blemish. I emailed BCO just to let them know in case that area had a failure in the future, then I could refer to the email. Well, they just sent out a brand new tarp no questions asked. They wanted to ensure it was 100% waterproof and in perfect condition from the start.

Holy Grail of Tarps
I have a lot of tarps in my gear from over the years. Different sizes and weights. For strictly speaking 10x10 this one beats them all! To say it’s well made doesn’t do the makers justice. It’s super strong, durable and most importantly LIGHT AND PACKABLE. This tarp compresses to the size of my anyoo poncho and is close to the same weight. Save up your money and buy one you won’t be disappointed

Silnylon Coyote Tan Tarp 10 x 10
Excellent product. Bought this a while ago, but finally got it out on a trip. Rained hard every night. No leaks. WIndy every day. No rips, tears, nothing. Very well made. A tarp is the first thing I put up in camp and the last thing I take down. One of my most important pieces of gear.

SILNYLON COYOTE TARP - 10'X10'
First tarp purchase, decided on this one after watching a bunch of tarp reviews online. Went camping this past weekend with the intention of learning various tarp setups. However, rain came in late late evening and we ended up using the tarp as a cover over our table. The rain came down pretty hard for a while but we stayed dry. I did notice a few drips of water on the mid seam, but after some pretty heavy rain for a couple of hours I cant really complain about that. Also, had not seam sealed it yet. There was also water inside later in the evening, i assumed that was condensation, but im not sure. All in all, this thing saved my weekend. Great tarp, would (and have) recommend it to friends.

I own a bunch of tarps and tend to buy a tarp for a particular use and store the tarp in a kit. I have dedicated tarps for winter hammocking and summer hammocking. I have tarps for my bushcraft endeavors as well. I decided I needed a tarp for my EDC bag which by the way gets more use as a general purpose do everything tarp. The 10x10 works well as far as size goes when filling the general purpose role. I can set this tarp up in a diagonal and use with one of my hammocks if needed. Since this tarp is already in my EDC pack I can throw in a hammock quickly for a day hike. This is one of if not the nicest tarps I own, well made with quality stitching throughout, plenty of tie out points,light weight and made in the USA. I also like the coyote color better than my other olive silnylon tarps. I could not be happier with this tarp. Ordering was painless and shipping was lighting fast. Great tarp at a good price ... you would be hard pressed to find anything wrong with this tarp quality wise and in actual use. BCUSA customer for life !
