The new one has a slightly different feel to the fabric compared to my older OD tarp. Not bad just different. Color is also darker on the new one. Not really what I would call Olive Drab, but that's not really of much concern to me. Still has a quality feel to the product and the stitching is perfect. I would definitely buy another. I can't wait to get the new one seam sealed and get my daughter out in the woods with me.
This design, features, and durability of this tarp are above my expectations and it's great for making shelters. Also, it's my favorite.
Took this tarp on a rainy, windy trip to the Adirondacks. The only failure was the knot I used to hold the tarp. It held up in 40mph winds all night. Very sturdy tieouts
I purchased this tarp to use in my outdoor YouTube series and have to say it is one of the best quality pieces I have in my gear collection. Looking forward to getting this thing in the backwoods and testing it out in new videos.
I haven't used the tarp yet but it seems to be of high quality. I am even more impressed with the customer service. When I emailed with a question they responded within 20 minutes. I look forward to trying the tarp next month
This tarp is awesome. Exactly what I was looking for. Fast shipping and excellent communication. 5 Stars got tarp and Bushcraft outfitters
I am in love with this tarp! I've had in on two outings thus far. I yarded it all the way down to Texas for a camping trip. I laughed at the south Texas thunderstorm that rolled through on the first night. I also just got back from a 4 day, 3 night trip up in the Oregon Coast range. We had some gnarly winds crop up at night along the ridge we camped on. It took that on the chin as well. This thing is awesome, plain and simple. Also made in the good old US of A to boot! I intend to pick up a MEST for my ultralight kit at some point. Pick one up, you won't be disappointed!
