Amazing tarp. Tie it up any way you like with the multiple tie out points. Have a small fire under a plough point or a hefty fire a meter away. I've had dozens of fires under/near this tarp and never had a single issue with an ember creating a hole.
Best tarp I have ever used! Strong material and so many tie out points. Highly recommended.
I thought long and hard before puchasing this tarp. To be frank, $160 is alot of money for a tarp. I am so glad I made this purchase. On a recent camping trip, it was raining slightly while we setup our tent. Afterwards we went to go get a load of firewood for our stay. the rain start increasing. By the time we made it back to camp, it was a full blow torrential downpour. The temp had dropped about 15 degrees. I grabbed the tarp and a roll of paracord. My lovely wife helped me rig up the tarp between some trees. Without the tarp, our trip would have sucked. Now we had a nice dry place to hang out, cook and relax without getting soaked. For those of you on the fence, pull the trigger and make your purchase. Best $160 I have ever spent. I will definitely be buying another one.
I used the Multicam tarp as a traditional Tarp Tent in the snow, the heat and light from the fire was reflected into the space quite nicely by the reflective coating on the tarp. The reinforcing on the anchor points and overall quality of the tarp are excellent.
