Bushcraft Outfitters 5' x 8' Multipurpose Emergency-Survival Tarp.
While useful as a stand-alone item, the MEST™ can also compliment one of our tarps or an existing shelter system you currently have.
The SAR MEST™ is geared towards Search and Rescue purposes and the needs of those that require an item that can be used for both signaling and shelter. These include Search and Rescue units, pilot survival kits, back country travellers, hunters, paddlers, etc. It can be used as an emergency shelter, signaling device, improvised pack or pack cover, as well as other uses.
The MEST has a storage sack. There is room in the storage sack for additional items such as a mylar blanket, cordage and a couple of other small items if you choose.
