Coyote MEST the Best
Purchased this as an emergency shelter for backcountry use. Perfect for one man and gear. Made six guy lines of cordage at eight foot lengths and all fit easily in the bag with room for stakes. Great color, material and workmanship. Also a good size for setting up a concealed shade while glassing for game. These are the tarps that you have been looking for. Wish I found them earlier. Buy USA made. Now trying to wear out an inferior 10×10 so it can be replaced with a BCO.

Very satisfied!
This is my first tarp. Although I have nothing to compare it to, it's clear that this is a thoughtfully designed, quality product. It's the little things like positioning the tabs so that they are offset when folding, keeping the packed shape flat and compact. And, the stuff sack has ample room for lines and pegs without being too bulky. I liked it so much that I ordered its larger 10'x10' sibling to have that as an option as well.

So far it's been great, good price, good quality, definitely water proof, tie outs seem strong, seams are taped, no loose threads like some tarps I had purchased in the past. I use this along with some other items in my backpack whenever I am out in the woods and for a ground cloth when tarp camping. Used it last night in the snow, it was warm-ish during the day so everything got nice and wet and muddy where the ground was exposed, kept me and my gear completely dry through the night. If you are on the edge about purchasing this product and reading this review, buy it for sure, stop using cheap tarps and polycro ground sheets and snag one of these! Multipurpose and so far a quality piece of gear that I would purchase again.

Mest Tarp
You couldn’t ask for a better tarp this size for the price. The connection points are well made and the tarp is very light weight. It takes up no space so it’s an easy addition to any of your kits. A must have.

This a great emergency tarp for day trips, whether hiking or kayaking/canoeing. Can be deployed quickly with a pre-built ridge-line.

By far the best pacable tarp that I purchased the seams are very well done tie outs are perfectly placed very durable material one of the best investments that you can have in a day pack this or overnight. Will be purchasing another for sure possibly the 10x7 as well.

MEST Riview
Although I haven't set this up yet I'm really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The color is spot on, you can clearly see the ripstop in the fabric, and all the stitching is just as it should be. I especially like the idea of the tabs as opposed to grommets since my experience tells me grommets usually rip in wind or under stress, so the tabs are welcome. When packed it fits into a small bag (included) and is small and light. I couldn't afford a larger one right now so the price of this one was great, now I have the ability to make shelter or get out of the weather, and within my budget. I will order from these folks again. Chris
