Product Description
The KoreTemp Blanket is a multi-use piece of gear that should be in everyone's kit. Designed as an integral part of the KoreTemp Modular Shelter System, this liner pairs perfectly to the dimensions of the KoreTemp Poncho. It can be used in conjunction with the poncho to create an insulated bivy sack. The 2" channels sewn into the top and bottom of the liner can be cinched down with shock cord. This creates a foot box to keep your extremities warm when it is being used as a bivy or over quilt. It can also be used as a blanket much like the beloved "wobbie" issued by the US Military. In very hot climates it can be tied into the KoreTemp Poncho and used to insulate oneself from the heat of the sun.
The liner weighs 36oz, is 93" long by 62" wide and made from mil-spec quilted batting faced by coyote fabric, webbing, and thread. The KoreTemp Blanket is manufactured in the USA, as well as all of the materials used to make the product. Stuff sack is included.
Shock cord, cord locks, and S-biners not included, they are available in the poncho liner/blanket accessory kit sold separately.
The uses include but are not limited to
- Insulating layer for the KoreTemp Poncho
